LETTERS: Help Appreciated
Dear Editor,

My name is Mae Ann Martin of Laughlin, Nev. I would like to give special thanks to the following for their assitance and their facilities during the training of my German Shepherd Service Dog "Rinny". Wal-Mart Manager, Jeff Tipton and his great staff; Betty Laughlin, Denise Berry and executive office worker Susan of Riverside Casino; Becky Gwennup of relations at the Colorado Belle; the owners of Roosters Restaurant; and many other people for allowing MITCHELL'S DOG TRAINING to use all of their facilities during the training of "Rinny".
These dogs are used to help people walk, keep their balance while walking, pick up the phone, turn lights on and off, retrieve items out of the refrigerator, to help their owners up and out of chairs and beds.
Dogs are now being trained to alert their owners for oncoming seizures and to detect cancer.
Again, I would personally
like to thank each of these businesses and staff and MITCHELL'S DOG TRAINING
for a great job of training my dog.

TWO THANKED FOR HELPING SERVICE DOG

Dear Editor,

My Service Dog, Amber and I would like to thank both Mr. Mitchell of Mitchell's Dog Training and Wal-Mart's Mr. Jeff Tipton for their participation in helping my Service Dog Amber receive her AKC Canine Good Citizen rating.

Amber and I have been working together for 18 months on our own but needed to go that one step further. Mr. Tipton made the store, and wonderful customers, available for Ambers testing by Mr. Mitchell.

The distractions such as buggies, kids, adults and the multitude of smells, helped Amber pass her test with flying colors.

Sincerely,

Theresa Dykes and Amber, Bullhead City
